What if I want to rent the Guiding Star Grange Hall?

To find out about renting the Guiding Star Grange Hall, please call the hall 413-772-0501. Leave a message that includes your name, phone number, best time to return your call, and the date you are requesting. If your call is not returned within the week, please feel free to leave an additional message.

For one-time or occasional events, also referred to as "incidental rentals", the rate is $30.00 per hour. For all-day rentals, the fee may be negotiable.

To request long-term use of the hall when the specific time slot you want is not immediately available, you must submit your request in writing to the Grange Secretary. It will be recorded and forwarded to the rental manager, who will then respond to your request. Address requests to: Guiding Star Grange, c/o Ruth Henry, 15 Pierce St., Greenfield, MA 01301 or to ruthieh@comcast.net. Requests should include your name, how and when to reach you (phone numbers and email if possible), the time slot you are interested in, and the nature and/or purpose of the event you plan to conduct. If you make your request by email and would like a confirmation that it was received, please say so; if by mail, enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

GRANGE KITCHEN FINISHED!

Our gleaming new kitchen is complete and has passed all inspections. The new appliances are all commercial grade (the dishwasher cycle is 90 seconds!) and we have $4,000 worth of new pots, pans and other necessities, thanks to a generous donor.

The kitchen is available for separate rental by the hour or in addition to the main hall rental. Rate and fee details were not yet complete by the deadline for this report. Because we are now a licensed, commercial kitchen, a Certified Food Manager must be present when the kitchen is used to prepare food. This applies to Grange activities and renters.
